Renovating the Linda Gross Theater

Atlantic Theater Company is celebrating 25 years of great theater thanks to friends like you.

To prepare for the next 25 years and beyond, we are making major improvements to our one-of-a-kind home, the Linda Gross Theater.

We’ll be breaking ground this summer on our first-ever renovation to make our artists and
audiences more comfortable. Join us in our campaign to raise $7.5 million and bring our 19th-century home into the 21st century.

As an audience member, you can look forward to:
  • A new lower level lobby with space to gather before the show and during intermission.

  • Expanded and relocated restrooms

  • New auditorium seating

  • Expanded stage area

  • A bigger box office

  • Elevator to access both lobbies and the auditorium

All this, plus important upgrades to our artist amenities and the building itself, will make the Linda Gross Theater state-of-the-art, while retaining its charm and ambience.

Look for our improved theater to re-open in Fall 2011. Stay with us for the year ahead, when we will produce another great season in theaters around town while our home is under renovation.
